The text for the month

How to slant the Calendar text to fit the A6 UNIT

You can find it already done both (pdf) and .gif by

Here is the explanation anyway.

This is the size of an A6 Unit, with the crease pattern. Copy it into your Graphic program, put in the Guide- lines, instead of the creases. Then with your transform menu turn the yellow Rhombus 35.3 degrees counter clockwise, put in guidelines for the lower right corner and move the center to this corner.

Now change the rhombus into a square with the transform menu by twisting it 19.5 degrees to the left.

Write the text for the month so it fits comfortably in the square, and group it and turn the group back into a rhombus by twisting -19,5 degrees, be sure the anchor point for the twist is still in the lower left corner. If it was possible to follow my explanation you can print two A6 Units onto one sheet of American Letter size.
